How can I get real-time Eligibility Alerts?

Eligibility Alerts are available when you have a Possible account with a bank account linked through Account Management and you’re opted in to receive emails. Turning on push notifications on your device helps you see alerts quickly. These alerts let you know when it may be a good time to apply for a Possible Loan.

When’s the best time to apply for a Possible Loan?

Approval is not guaranteed, but timing can affect your chances. Possible looks at factors like regular income, consistent deposits, and overall cash flow. Applying before large bills or major withdrawals reduce your balance may improve your odds. Will checking my eligibility impact my credit?

Checking eligibility and applying for a Possible Loan does not create a FICO inquiry or directly impact your FICO score. For some applicants, Possible may review a Clarity report to better understand borrowing history. While the application itself doesn’t affect your FICO score, payments on an approved loan are reported to credit bureaus and can help build credit history with on-time payments.

What factors affect my loan prequalification?

Prequalification is based on factors such as income, cash flow, and recent bank transactions in your linked account. If your financial activity suggests now may be a good time to borrow, you may receive a Prequalify Alert, provided you’re opted in to emails and have notifications enabled.

I got denied for a Possible Loan. Was it just not the right time to apply?

If your application is denied, you’ll receive a notice explaining the main reasons. Because income and expenses change over time, a denial does not prevent you from applying again later. Keeping your bank account linked and your notifications on allows Possible to send Prequalify Alerts when your situation may better meet the criteria.
